Yesterday the world went dark for an hour; you might ask why this is fashionable? Because it has become the new fad, it's called going Green. Being Green is fashionable; it shows up in our clothes, food, and appliance purchases. Like fashion it is the fad of the newer generation, and it's hitting everyone with a big storm, our government, our daily choices, its even showing up in our grocery stores instead of plastic where it's becoming obsolete you have green bag's, which are just like fashion bags you can be stylish by putting your food in designer eco-friendly tote bags. Designers Stella McCartney and Hermes offer stylish grocery totes, yes at a high price but you can find many stylish bags at places like Trader Joes or Whole Foods. They're fashionable while saving the planet.

Now that clothes are being made with eco-friendly fabrics consumers couldn't be happier, they feel that they're participating in the big green boom while being stylish. A designer that has gone eco-friendly recently is skate board brand Etnies creator Pierre André Senizergues who developed a new brand named C-PAS this month which is completely eco-friendly. Om Sweet Home has a whole line of eco-friendly clothes, made without pesticides and uses unbleached organic cotton; so if you’re looking to add green to your wardrobe defiantly check them out. Fashion isn't just what you wear but also a way of life, if you incorporate being green into your everyday life you could be saving the environment and money.
